Azure AI developers and engineers with Python experience who build generative applications, agents, and multimodal solutions with Microsoft Foundry.
AI-103 validates that you can design, develop, deploy and operate AI applications and agents on Azure using Microsoft Foundry. The exam combines architecture, Python development, generative models, RAG, tools, memory, security, observability and evaluation.
It also covers vision and media generation, text, speech and information extraction. Knowing a model is not enough: you must decide how to connect it to data and tools, secure the solution and measure its quality in production.
The two main blocks are planning and management at 25 to 30 percent and generative AI and agents at 30 to 35 percent. Together they can represent up to 65 percent of the exam. Spread the rest across computer vision, text and speech analysis, and information extraction, each weighted 10 to 15 percent.
Build one cross-cutting project: ingest documents, create a hybrid index, implement RAG, add a tool to an agent, apply a managed identity and record traces and evaluations. Then add a multimodal or speech input to cover several domains with a single practice.
CertifyDeck organizes questions by the five domains in force since 16 April 2026. Scenarios are original and train architecture and implementation decisions; they do not reproduce confidential exam content.
Start for free, no sign-up, and use the bilingual explanations to keep the English technical terminology. Before booking, alternate practice on weak areas with full, unseen mock exams.

Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Apps and Agents Developer Associate, focused on advanced development with Python and Microsoft Foundry.
You should be comfortable with Python, Azure, APIs, vector search, RAG, generative models, identity, and responsible AI.
Planning and management is 25–30%; generative AI and agents is 30–35%; vision, text, and information extraction are 10–15% each.

No. They are original exercises based on the public official objectives and do not reproduce confidential exam content.
Microsoft sets the price per country. USD 165 list price (varies by country; confirm on Pearson VUE when booking). CertifyDeck does not sell the exam, only the preparation: you can start for free and full access is a one-off fee per certification.
Microsoft does not publish an exact number; its exams usually have between 40 and 60 questions and AI-103 gives you 120 minutes. Our timed mock exam mirrors that length and the official domain weights.
You need a scaled score of 700 out of 1000. The scale does not map to a fixed percentage of correct answers, so aim for consistent results above 80% on unseen mock exams before booking.
Yes. You can start for free with no sign-up or card: AI-103 practice questions with explanations, a free online test by domain and published sample questions with answers. Full access to the whole bank and the timed mock exam is a one-off payment.
It is a good free starting point, but it is short and repeats the same items. A practice test with hundreds of original Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Apps and Agents Developer Associate questions, timed mock exams and practice by domain tells you where you fail and whether you keep the level under time pressure.
