AB-330 (Implementing AI-Powered Supply Chain Operations with Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management) is the exam for the Microsoft Certified: Supply Chain Management AI Consultant Associate certification. It validates that you can implement and manage end-to-end supply chain processes in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management and its AI-enabled capabilities, and translate customer requirements into configurations aligned with the business process catalog for Dynamics 365. The outline is organized into six processes, with most of the weight on source to pay, inventory to deliver and order to cash. This is a beta outline (study guide last updated 15 October 2026), with general availability announced for January 2027; the bank will be updated when the exam leaves beta. It replaces MB-330, which retires on 1 February 2027.

A cold chain operator has location directive queries that select heavy frozen items by listing a series of filter codes. You need to simplify these queries so that they search for one value that represents the codes. Which should you configure?

AB-330 (Exam AB-330: Implementing AI-Powered Supply Chain Operations with Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management) is the exam for the Microsoft Certified: Supply Chain Management AI Consultant Associate certification. It validates that you can implement and manage end-to-end supply chain processes in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management and its AI-enabled capabilities, and turn customer requirements into configurations aligned with the business process catalog for Dynamics 365. Microsoft announced it in beta on 16 October 2026, in English only, and expects general availability in January 2027. It replaces MB-330, which retires on 1 February 2027.
The beta outline, in the study guide last updated on 15 October 2026, has six processes: design to retire (5–10%), forecast to plan (1–5%), inventory to deliver (20–25%), order to cash (20–25%), plan to produce (1–5%) and source to pay (30–35%). The three heaviest add up to between 70% and 85% of the exam.
Source to pay carries the most weight and lists the fewest skill points: procurement categories, charge codes, purchasing policies and workflows, vendor details, vendor collaboration, purchase agreements, over and under deliveries, purchase requisitions, RFQs, purchase orders and vendor returns. Inventory to deliver covers sites, warehouses and locations, location directives, wave, load and work templates, labels, replenishment, inventory journals, transfer orders, inventory closing, cycle counting, cross docking, load planning and quality control. Order to cash covers order promising (ATP and CTP), unified pricing management, sales agreements and quotations, sales orders, reservations, returns, commissions and intercompany operations.
Design to retire asks for category hierarchies, lifecycle states, attributes, inventory dimensions, item model groups, reservation hierarchies, BOMs, formulas, trade agreements and standard costs. Forecast to plan and plan to produce each weigh little (1–5%), although the second is among the longest in skill points: coverage, master planning, routes, resources, scheduling, production journals, subcontracting and the production floor execution interface. Although the title and the audience profile mention AI ("AI-enabled capabilities"), the beta outline's bullets do not list any specific AI feature, so our bank focuses on the process configuration the guide does spell out.
The official page says there is no dedicated training for this exam yet and no Practice Assessment, which usually arrives within 8 weeks of general availability. Split your time by weight: start with source to pay, inventory to deliver and order to cash using the Supply Chain Management documentation on Microsoft Learn and, if you can, a test environment, walking through each process from configuration to posting the transaction. Leave forecast to plan and plan to produce for last, without skipping them. If you also work with Copilot in Microsoft 365, look at [AB-730](/en/certifications/ab-730) or [AB-900](/en/certifications/ab-900); if you build on Power Platform, [AB-400](/en/certifications/ab-400).
Start free to measure your level and practise by area. The bank has more than 300 questions across the 6 domains and 99 skill points of the beta outline, built on process configuration scenarios, and the mock exam uses 50 questions in 100 minutes, the real exam length. We will update it when the exam leaves beta and Microsoft publishes the final outline.

You have 100 minutes. Microsoft does not publish the number of questions for AB-330; it says most of its certification exams have 40 to 60 and that the number can vary. The exam is proctored and may include interactive components. Our mock exam uses 50 questions in 100 minutes.
You need 700 out of 1,000. In the beta you do not get your score at the end: Microsoft rescores the exam when it goes live, and its announcement says final results come about 10 days after that.
The fee depends on the country or region where you take the exam, and the official page does not publish a USD figure: check it when you book with Pearson VUE. During the beta, the first 300 candidates who take the exam on or before 15 November 2026 get 80% off, according to Microsoft's announcement (not available in Turkey, Pakistan, India or China). CertifyDeck does not sell the exam, only the preparation: you can start free and full access is a one-time payment.
English only for now; if English is not your first language, the study guide says you can request 30 extra minutes. On CertifyDeck every question and explanation is available in English and Spanish.
The official page lists no required prior certification. It does assume hands-on experience implementing and managing supply chain processes in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management and its AI-enabled capabilities, plus the ability to analyze business requirements, map them to configuration and manage dependencies between processes.
It may: this is a beta outline, Microsoft announces general availability for January 2027, and betas exist to evaluate the quality of the questions and the exam. Our bank follows the study guide last updated on 15 October 2026 and will be updated when the exam leaves beta. More details, including the retirement of MB-330 on 1 February 2027, in our article [AB-330 replaces MB-330](/en/articles/ab-330-replaces-mb-330-supply-chain-ai-consultant).
